Undoubtedly, the OLB forum was shut down for two reasons. The first is he detested posters getting personal in their debate. He tried to keep a civil tone in the Forum. The political posters were getting more and more vitriolic with each other, not on the subject, but personally.
The second is he may have been scared for good reason when a certain Badger of the neighborhood began to get mentioned by name again. The person threaten legal action before and has a history of following up with the such threats. Not having the financial resources to pay for legal fees the way the Enterprise does, retreat was the better part of valor. My speculation, for what it is worth.
